Some selection-genetic parametrs of black and white cattle breed under the conditions of mountainous zone of Armenia and their usage in breed improvement.

In milk producing complex of Jrarat the heredity coefficient of milk yield of German, Poland, Lithuanian Black and White breed brought from different countries and Black and White breed of local cows has made up 0.08-0.16, fat content 0.14-0.36, butterfat 0.22-0.46. The replication coefficient of the cows registrated in the first volume of State Pedigree Book of the milk producing complex of Jrarat and of Black and White breed made up 0.17-0.39, fat content 0.17-0.38. The correlation link coefficient of the milk yield and milk fat of cows which are bred in the above-mentioned farm, as well as in "Ranchpar" and "Ser" farms, has made up 0.10-0.36, milk yield and butterfat 0.25-0.98.
