Improvement of milk productivity of Caucasian Brown breed using the genetic resources

Milk productivity of cows has been studied at "Arzni" farm house. For study had been chosen Caucasian Brown (CB), pure breed and three-breed (1/4CB+4/1J+1/2H) cows in each group were studied, indices of milk yield of I, II, III, IV and higher lactation were studied as well. In the result of the studies it has been found out that mix-breed cows (1/4CB+4/1J+1/2H) by indices of milk productivity in lactations IV and higher exceed pure breed cows by milk quantity-3379.0kg or 90.9%, by milk fat quantity: 130.4kg or 86.0%. At the period of experiment EKM/MJ expence of the milk in the group I was 1.1, digested fibr - 98.4g, and in the II group-0.8 and 97.2g respectively.
