It was performed a retrospective analysis of the registered intoxications in our country concerning wild mammals and birds during the period 2005-2008 year and as well as the reasons for their appearance were analyzed. It has been analyzed 42 samples of internal organs - liver, stomach and intestinal content from wild mammals and birds and it was carry out a laboratory differential diagnose in a way to determine the reasons for the intoxications. It was established that for the whole period of 3 years the number of the incidents is 38. The data of the carried out investigations show that the intoxications of the wild birds - scarce species and threatened with extinction) included in the Red book of Republic of Bulgaria were 18 and 12 of them are died as a result of intoxication with antiholinesterase pesticides - most often with daily raptor birds.
