Pathogenical traits of some isolates of the infectidos bursal disease virus | Características patogénicas de algunos aislados del virus de la enfermedad infecciosa de la bolsa

La evaluación de las características patogénicas de las cepas del virus de la enfermedad infecciosa de la bolsa (EIB), juega un papel importante para el establecimiento de programas de control efectivos, determinado por la aparición de cepas de mayor virulencia que han complicado la vacunación contra esta enfermedad. En este trabajo se realizó la caracterización patogénica de diez aislados de este virus, procedentes de brotes de la enfermedad de diferentes regiones.Se realizó inoculación en embrión de pollo y la prueba de patogenicidad en pollos de 3 semanas de edad, basado en la presencia de signos clínicos, mortalidad, lesiones macroscópicas y alteraciones microscópicas de los órganos linfoides. Todos los aislados ocasionaron mortalidad en embrión de pollo con alteraciones similares a las informadas para las cepas del serotipo 1 clásicas. La prueba de patogenicidad en pollos reveló que dos aislados ocasionaron pocos signos clínicos con afectación del peso relativo de la bolsa de Fabricio respecto al peso corporal (PRBF/PC) y alteraciones microscópicas moderadas de la bolsa de Fabricio (BF). Los ocho aislados restantes presentaron mortalidad variable entre 3-5 días posteriores a la inoculación (PI), signos clínicos severos, lesiones hemorrágicas en músculos, BF, riñón; con afectación del PRBF/PC y lesiones histopatológicas severas con atrofia a los 12 días después de la infección. Estos aislados mostraron las características patogénicas de las cepas virulentas del serotipo 1 clásico de este agente viral.

The evaluation of the pathogenics characteristics of the strains of the virus infectious bursal disease (EIB), it plays an important paper for the estabilishment of effective control programs, determined by the appearance of strains more virulence. That they have complicated the vaccination against this illness. Reason why in this work it is carried out the pathogenic characterization of ten isolates of this virus, coming from outbread of this disease of different regions of the country. For that which was realized inoculation in chicken embryo and the patogenity test in chickens of 3 weeks of age, based on the presence of clinical signs, mortality, lesions and microscopic alterations of the organs linfoides. All the isolated ones caused mortality in chicken embryo with similar alterations to those reported for the strains of the serotipo 1 classics. The test in chickens revealed that two isolated they caused few clinical signs with affectation of the relative weight of the bursa of Fabricio (BF) regarding the corporal weight (PRBF/PC) and moderate microscopic alterations of BF. The eight isolated remaining they presented variable mortality among later 3-5 days to the inoculation (PI), severe clinical signs, hemorrágicas lessions in muscles, BF, kidney; the PRBF/PC was afected and severe histopathologics lessions with BF atrophy to the 12 days PI. These isolated showed the characteristic pathogenics of the virulent surains of the serotipo 1 classic of this agent.
