Preferencia de Zabrotes subfasciatus Boheman (Coleoptera: Bruchidae) por granos almacenados

Para conocer la preferencia de Zabrotes subfasciatus Boheman (Coleoptera: Bruchidae) por diferentes especies de granos almacenados, se colectaron insectos en su estado adulto de la especie Z. subfasciatus, y luego del periodo de cuarentena se colocaron en dos variantes, individualmente y en grupos, ante granos de Phaseolus vulgaris, Lens culinaris, Canavalia ensiformis y Zea mays, y se observó y contabilizó el tiempo sobre los mismos y el promedio de huevos ovopositados en cada una de las especies. Las hembras prefirieron granos de frijol común (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) para ovopositar. El comportamiento grupal se mostró una preferencia marcada por el frijol común. La mayor cantidad primedio de huevos puestos fueron en las semillas de frijol negro, seguido del rojo y crema con 11,0; 5,00 y 4,61 huevos, respectivamente.

Английский. To know the preference of Zabrotes subfasciatus Boheman (Coleoptera: Bruchidae) for different species of stored grains was studied. The insects were collected in their adult state of the species Z. subfasciatus, and after the period of quarantine they were placed in two variants, individually and in groups, in Phaseolus vulgaris, Lens culinaris, Canavalia ensiformis and Zea mays grains. Was observed and counted the time on the same ones and the average of eggs in each one of the species. The females preferred grains of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) to put egg. The behavior grupal was shown a preference by the common bean. The biggest quantity primedio of on eggs was in the seeds of common bean of the black color, followed by the red and beige with 11,0; 5,00 and 4,61 eggs, respectively.
