Selection of lines with good characteristics influencing Grain Yield In Barley Segregation Population In Warm Dry Land Areas.

In order to identify high yielding, adaptable and tolerance to biotic and a biotic stress for dry land areas of IRAN, 42 barley segregation populations, 86 barley lines in PBSN selected from last year observation nurseries at 2006-2007 growing year and 136 international barley segregation population (F2) in Gachsaran agricultural rain fed research station in 2007-2008 growing year conducted this survey. Each segregation population was planted systematically and without any replication in 6 rows with 4.37 meters length and 17.5 centimeters spacing from each other and PBSN lines were planted in 6 rows with 7.03 meters length and 17.5 cm spacing from each other via Winter Stiger seed planting device. Izeh cultivar's applied as check. During growing season, data were collected from some agronomical and morpho-physiological traits based on existence manual. Segregating population was managed by modified bulk- pedigree method. Finally 3 F5 population, 7 F4 population, 8 F3 population from national segregations population, 36 population from international segregation population (F2) and 25 line with possessing good characters and higher than check were selected for next year. From F5 population No.4 Kuban-02/Alanda-01 ICB02-2735-OAP-OG-OG-OG-OG with 1247.6 Kg/ha grain yield showed that the higher yield. Although some line showing the high yield but them about farm status don't be good condition. From F4 population No.18 Clipper/Volla/3/Arr/Esp//Alger/Ceres362-1-1/4/Hml/5/Mundah/6/Lignee1335 ICB03-0921-OAP-OGOG- OG with 1504.8 Kg/ha grain yield and 43.6% more than check recognized as the best population.FromF3populationNo.29Roho/4/Zanbaka/3/ER/Apm//Lignee131/5/Arta/3/Hml- 02//Esp/1808-4L ICB04-0873-OAP-OG-OG with 1642.9 Kg/ha grain yield and 64.3% yielded more than check detected as the best. From 25 line selected of PBSN line No. 36 Wi2291/Bgs//Wi2291/Roho/3/Moroco9-75/Hml-02 ICB99-0766-43AP-OAP with3020.6 Kg/ha and 87.9% yielded more than check recognized as the best line.
