Study of agronomic characters and grain yield of large seed of lentil lines in rainfed condition.

The present study was conducted to identify and selection desirable lentil genotypes under rainfed condition. Therefore, production and breeding new varieties is one of main objective at breeding program in dry regions. In this survey lentil genotypes were evaluated in, lentil advance yield trail (LHA1T) with 20 geontypes in Shirvan and Chardavol Agri. Research Station and were compared with the local checks. Selection was mainly based on the field performance and appearance. The best genotypes were selected for next season to be evaluated more precisely.
