International collaborations and germplasm exchange are one of the most efficient strategies for food supply of the word growing population. Such cooperations will play a role to guarentee free exchange of germplasms and information which are of essential factors in any genetic and breeding programs. In order to achieve new Triticale cultivars more high yielding comparing to widely grown varieties comprising resistance to disease, lodging and preferably dual Purpose (grain forage) etc. With favorable quality and also investigation of valuable plant genetic resources received from International Center CIMMYT to be used in crossing blocks, this research project including the following Int.Observathon and yield trials nurseries were conducted in growing season of ITYN (International Triticale Yield Nursery) and ITSN (International Triticale screening Nursery) Notes were taken on grain yield, reaction to diseases resistance to cold, plant Height (PLH), Days to heading (DHE), days to physiological Maturity (DMA), and TKW. (Combined variance analysis on results of ITYN and ITSN nurseries carried out and resulted in selection of 19 and 46 genotypes). All selected entries participated in preliminary yield trial of the next year.
