An account of the Dipterocarpaceae of Bohol Island, Philippines, comprising 15 species in five genera is presented; 12 of the species are new records for the island, viz. Dipterocarpus grandiflorus, D. hasseltii, Hopea acuminata, H. philippinensis, H. quisimbingiana, Shorea almon, S. assamica subsp. philippinensis, S. contorta, S. guiso, S. malibato, S. polita and Vatica mangachapoi subsp. mangachapoi. All 15 species, except D. grandiflorus, S. almon and S. malibato, occur in forests over limestone.
