The aims of investigation were as fallow: qualification, on base of 4265 delivers, the frequency of difficult calving in commercial crossing of Black-and-White cows with Piemontese bulls, comparison of calving course estimations, calves muscularity grade, calves vitality and their body weight at birth in purebred Piemontese and crossbred populations, checking up if the recording results of purebred bulls are confirmed in commercial crossing and if it is possible to use during selection of bulls for commercial crossing in Poland bulls evaluated in Italy
