The influence of Chemical Company Wizow on the sulphur content in soil and plants

The aim of carried out investigation was to asses the influence of Chemical Company Wizow (Poland) - producer of polyphosphate, on sulphur contents in soil and plants collected from different direction and distances from the factory. Contents of sulphur decreased significantly along with distance from the factory. Quantity of soluble forms of this element did not depend on location direction from the factory. The highest sulphur contents were found in plants grown in the closest distances from the factory. Plants cultivated in distance of 1 km from the emission source content natural quantity of this element
