Analysis of soil properties for precision farming purposes

Maps of spatial distribution of the winter wheat yields as well as soil penetration resistance and volumetric moisture content are presented in the paper. The zones of low, medium and high values of the measured parameters persisting during the crucial period for plant growth were determined. It can be stated that on zones with medium and high yields low and medium moisture content prevailed. As far as the penetration resistance is concerned, its highest values occurred on the lowest yielding parts of the field
