The aim of this study was to assess the effect of weather conditions and two soil tillage systems on the productivity of faba bean. The faba bean was cultivated in a four-course crop rotation (faba bean, winter wheat, spring barley). The compared tillage systems were: ploughing - a conventional cultivation and ploughless - a reduced tillage system. In both soil tillage systems, the stubble of spring barley cultivation treatment consisted on skimming cultivation and harrowing. The seed yield was determined and recalculated for the 15 percent moisture content. The crop yield of faba bean was recalculated and expressed as food energy value in MJ/kg d.m, the applied converter was 18.49
