The basic aim of our investigation was to establish influence of PHI type on the fattening and slaughter traits of swine. Data were collected by investigation of PHI genotype frequency at the Large White, Landrace, Duroc, Hempshire, rotation crossing swines and three and four races combinations. For all these races and combionations we analyzed production and slaughter traits in the same conditions. We analyzed data from 407 animals. After investigation of producing traits, we slaughtered them at 105 kg of live weight and collected blood samples for examination of blood markers. The aim was to distinguishe heterozigous genotypes phi(AB) from the individuals which have no reaction on halothan and which make a mix with the homozigous phi(AA) and phi(BB). They slaughtered after and we examined slaughter traits. Share of genotypes phi(BB) in all genetic populations is a very high, vary between 20% at Hypor to 72.73% at three race crosses with Hempshire. At the pure races we have a high percent of heterozygous genotypes at all three races (58.33; 41.67; and 45.45). Genotype phi(BB) is present at the Dutch and German Landrace (50 and 45.45%). The highest presence of genotype phi(BB) was at the three race crosses (47.60%) but the smallest presence we had at the four race crosses. Phi(AB) genotype is the most often at the pure races but very rarely in the four races crosses (35.0%). As a result we have unfavourable frequences and relations between expresion of A and B alleles at the some pure races and mating combinations. Frequence of allele B is higher than 55% at all pure races and crossbreds, except LW, GLxLE and Hypor (29.17; 22.73 and 37.50%). Genotypes phi(AB) had all investigated values of fattening and slaughter traits higher than genotypes phi(AA).
