The thesis considers the problem of diesel engine fine particles exhaust emission measurement. Actually, the problem is that current diesel engines have extremely low particles emission almost at the level of measurement mistake of existing gravimetric measurement method. At the same time this ultra fine particles emission of current diesel engine have very negative effect on human health. Therefore, the improved or completely new measurement method for the characterization of fine particles emission has to be developed.
