Due to the more stricter emission regulations, especially for diesel engine, which has a big NO x PM emission problem, as well as reduction CO2 emissions and reducing of mineral fuels consumption, whose price continuously incresing, are looking for ways to reduce exhaust emission and the replacement of mineral fuel with alternative fuels. Medium term looking, the great potential are bio-fuels from biomass, while the in short term, alternative fuel first generation methyl ester rapeseed oil, known as biodiesel, is a favourable substitute for mineral diesel. From this point of the view, paper deals with the influence of a mixture of mineral diesel and biodiesel to reduce emission of diesel tractor engines.
