Level of soil endanger with detrimental substances on the boarder of ash disposal in the area of Obrenovac [Serbia]

Researches presented in this paper were conveyed on a part of the area of municipality Obrenovac (Serbia), on the boarder of the ash disposal. Elements of fertility and pollution of soil were examined. In the examined area there is a several type of soil, mainly developed, deep and potentially productive on which it can be reached high yields of crops and fruits. Part of the examined area are under the soil with lower productivity, with some restrictions for agricultural production (increased acidity, unbalanced water regime) and due to this, needed some melioration measures. Apart of the basic soil characteristics it was also examined contains of potential pollution elements (As, Hg, Cd, Pb, Ni) trough the depth of the profile. Concentration of As, Hg, Cd, Pb are bellow the maximum approved concentation, except Ni, where the concentration is increasing trough the depth in all profiles.
