Effects of utilization of oil meal of diverse cultivars, extruded seed and extruded commercial oil meal in feeding of fattening chicks on the following carcass quality and fatty acids composition of lipids in chicken meat are presented in this paper. Three experiments carried out with a total number of 2740 chicks. After the groups were made, first three weeks chicks fed in starter and on finisher mixtures till the end of experiment. In all three experiments the first group was used as control one being fed on soybean meal. Oil rape cultivars effected very strongly on body weights. Differences in body weights were statistically signficant. The best results were obtained in group with Slavica cultivar followed with cultivars NS-07 and Banacanka. It was in positive correlation with amount of glucosinolate in these cultivars. Extruded commercial oil rape meal has slightly depressive effect on production parameters and there were no statistical significance. In 3rd experiment effect of extruded canola seed on dynamic of growth of chicks, in relationship with control group were significant. In experimental groups feed conversion was somewhat increased while feed consumption was very much the same in all the groups at the end of experiment. Rape seed in nutrition of fattening chicks significantly change fatty acid composition of lipids. At that time amount of linoleic acid decreased by 20% while the amount of linolenic acid increased by 50%.
