In conclusion: The use of inoculants in ensiling whole maize plant, lucerne and perennial ryegrass produced lower pH values in obtained silages and intensification of the complete fermentation, with relative domination of lactic acid within total acid content in maize silages. The added organozeolite produced significant decrease in ammonia nitrogen. For practical application it is recommended that those two additives are used simultaneously in order to obtain better quality silages with less degraded protein.
