Indoor plant growing under artificial lighting - the so-called intensive light culture (IL) is the third field of human activity in agriculture alongside with open air and protected plant cultivation. The author has worked out the technologies of growing different plants under artificial lighting including vegetable, ornamental, drug and other crops. These technologies proved to be far less energy consuming comparing to open air and protected plant cultivation. For example, electricity input to grow 1 kg of tomatoes is 14 to 15 kilo W. Electricity input per 1 stem of fresh-cut flowers (asters, gillyflowers) is less than 1 kWh. Green onions, which are unprofitable if cultivated greenhouse require below 0,3 kWh per 1 kilogram, and yield twice a month. It makes process profitable in two weeks. Automation of growing plants under artificial lighting allows to considerably reduce the labor expenses since illumination and nutrition of plants are regulated automatically. Illuminants used in this process are non-polluting, do not harm environment, do nor contain Pb and have no rigid ultra-violet iradiation, as in DRLF lamps, which used in greenhouses. The illuminants work for above 20 000 hours. Hydroponics lighting installations GOUVRI, developed by the author, can be used growing almost all vegetables, ornamental, fruit and berry, medicinal, essential oils plant. Control of used water and applied fertilizers alongside with the absence of radioactive precipitation guarantee radiation-free products and the absence of heavy metals salts. Biochemical structure of plants grown under artificial lighting features increased substance, sugar and essential oils content, 2 to 3 times higher vitamins content decreased acidity. For example, content of stevioside in stevia increases by 18-plus percent. Some plants, being grown under artificial lighting, form naturally bound different microelements, namely I, Zn, Se, Cd, Fe; they can be used to cure thyroid prostate gland, anemia caused by lack of Fe, diabetes, etc. It gives the above method prospects
