Variants of main soil cultivation for soya were studied: 1) moldboard plowing 30-32 cm deep for arable crops and 20-22 cm deep – for winter wheat; 2) plowing (control) 20-22 cm deep for arable crops and disc harrow shallow plowing 8-10 cm deep for winter wheat; 3) minimum – shallow moldboard plowing 12-14 cm deep for arable crops and disc tillage (8-10 cm) using herbicides; 4) no herbicide minimum plowing; 5) shallow beardless plowing for all rotation crops – disking 8-10 cm deep. It is found that the most productive variants are deep beardless chisel plow bursting and classic moldboard plowing for soya. The advantage of beardless bursting over plowing is more saving consumption of moisture with plants, meaning thereby increasing heat and drought resistance of crops. In the moldboard plowing variant plants greatly outgrew the plants of other variants. The studies showed that on average over 1977-2007 in the absence of perennial offset weeds and using high effective herbicides moldboard plowing of chernozem can be rather substituted by beardless bursting and shallow moldboard plowing 12-14 cm
