The efficacy of four lambda cyhalothrin products (Phoenix 5 EC, Tantrix 5 EC, Sarate 5 EC and Nobat % EC) was evaluated in a field experiment for the control of thrips on onion at the Gezira Research Station Farm in season 2006/07. The yields and performance of all tested products in controlling thrips on onion were comparable to those of the counterpart (Karate) and significantly better than those of the untreated control
