Şanlıurfa yerel domates genotiplerinin toplanması, tarımsal karakterlerinin belirlenmesi ve seleksiyon yoluyla ıslahı

Английский. The optimal temperature for tomato is between 25-30ºC. Tomato are very sensitive to high temperature stress. High temperature (above 37ºC) affects plant growth, flower formation, pollen and ovule formation, fertilization and seed formation. Şanlıurfa has high temperature, dry hot winds and low humidity conditions in summer (especially for the period July-August). Because of extreme high temperature leaves and shoots of tomato plants are dried and resulted with low yield. So that cultivation of tomato is limited because of heat-stress in this region. We collected the domestic Urfa tomato genotypes, determined the plant and fruit characteristics and tested for high temperature tolerance. These high temperature tolerant germplasms can be used for breading projects in the future.

турецкий. Domates için optimum sıcaklık 25-30ºC'dir. Domates yüksek sıcaklık stresine karşı çok duyarlıdır. Yüksek (37ºC'nin üstündeki) sıcaklıklar bitki gelişimini, çiçek oluşumunu, çiçek tozu ve yumurta hücresi oluşumunu, tozlanma ve tohum oluşumunu etkiler. Şanlıurfa yazın (özellikle Temmuz-Ağustos aylarında) çok yüksek sıcaklıklar, kuru sıcak rüzgarlar ve düşük nem koşullarına sahiptir. Yüksek sıcaklıklar nedeniyle domateste bitki gelişimi engellenmekte hatta çiçekler, yapraklar ve sürgünler kurumaktadır. Bu nedenle Şanlıurfa'da domates tarımı sınırlı alanlarda ve düşük verimle yapılmaktadır. Bu proje ile yerli domates genotipleri toplanmış, bitkisel ve pomolojik meyve özellikleri tespit edilmiş ve yüksek sıcaklığa dayanımları test edilmiştir. Elde edilen yüksek sıcaklığa tolerant bu genitörler ilerde ıslah çalışmalarında kullanılabilir.
