Английский. The sublethal effects of fenitrothion, a organophosphothionate insecticide and potential toxic pollutant contaminating aquatic ecosystems, was investigated in the present study. The secondary stress response of Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus after exposed to sublethal fenitrothion concentrations (5, 50 and 100 µg/L) was evaluated assessing the levels of hematocrit and plasma glucose.

Bu çalışmada, sucul ekosisteme toksik kirletici olarak bulaşabilen organik fosforlu pestisitlerden fenitrothionun subletal konsantrasyonlarının, Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) üzerinde sekonder stres yanıtı araştırılmıştır. Subletal fenitrothion konsantrasyonlarının (5, 50 ve 100 µg/L) etkisinde kalan Tilapia'nın (Oreochromis niloticus) sekonder stres yanıtı hematokrit ve plazma glukoz ölçümleri ile değerlendirilmiştir.
