The population fluctuations of Platymetopius cruentatus (Haupt, 1927), Platymetopius rostratus (Herrich and Schäffer, 1834) and Platymetopius undatus (De Geer, 1773) (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) in vineyards in Diyarbakir, Elazig and Mardin provinces | Platymetopius cruentatus (Haupt, 1927), Platymetopius rostratus (Herrich and Schäffer, 1834) ve Platymetopius undatus (De Geer, 1773) (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae) türlerinin Diyarbakır, Elazığ ve Mardin illeri bağ alanlarındaki populasyon değişimleri

This study was carried out in order to determine the Platymetopius cruentatus (Haupt, 1927), Platymetopius rostratus (Herrich & Schäffer, 1834) and Platymetopius undatus (De Geer, 1773) species by using yellow sticky trap at the Diyarbakır, Elazığ and Mardin's vineyards. While P. rostratus was captured at three provinces, P. cruentatus and P. undatus were only determined at Diyarbakır and Mardin provinces. Even though the populations were low, some species can be found at the all vegetative periods of grapevine, and they may reach pest status in the future. These findings will provide basic data for this homopteran insect species.

Bu çalışma 2006-2007 yılları arasında Diyarbakır, Elazığ ve Mardin illeri bağ alanlarında Platymetopius cruentatus (Haupt, 1927), Platymetopius rostratus (Herrich&Schäffer, 1834) ve Platymetopius undatus (De Geer, 1773) türlerinin sarı yapışkan tuzak yöntemiyle popülasyon değişimlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Elde edilen türler içerisinde bulunan, P. rostratus türü her üç ildeki bağ alanında da tespit edilirken, P. cruentatus ve P. undatus türleri ise sadece Diyarbakır ve Mardin illerinde belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda türlerin bağ alanlarındaki populasyonları düşük düzeyde belirlenmesine rağmen, genellikle türlerin bağın tüm vejetatif dönemlerinde tespit edilmesi nedeniyle daha sonraki yıllarda zarar açısından önem kazanabilirler. Çalışma bulguları, bağ alanlarında bulunan Platymetopius türleri için temel oluşturacaktır.
