Results of research carried out by scientists of educational establishments and research institutions of agrarian profile of Ukraine on actual problems of plant production and farming are elucidated in the present collection of scientific papers. The collection as a whole comprises 34 papers, each provided with the Ukrainian abstract at the beginning of the paper and those Russian and English at the end thereof, as well as its Contents is available (p. 158). Various problems of the following crops are considered in the issue: concerning cereals (winter wheat, spring soft wheat) and grain legumes (soybeans), vegetable crops (carrot, potatoes), industrial crops (sugar beet) and fruit trees (apple, pear) etc.
