Data from long-lasting field experiments without irrigation on Luvisol from Nikolaevo, near Pleven have been used. The influence of the fertilization on the wheat grain yield and maize corn yield has been observed at a different intensity of precipitation during the vegetation period. The received results show that the quantity of rainfalls and especially their distribution during the vegetation period to great extend define the productivity - especially magnitude of the maize yield. The high fertilization levels of NPK in dry year lead to a reduction on crop production, especially - wheat yields.
