Geographical Information Systems GIS are the most powerful and modern tool to detect the complex influence of factors, creating a database that allows update of data over time and supplement with new information , as well as management and analysis of the processes. This paper is grounded model of a database for the application of Geographic Information System in regioning and microregioning of viticulture in Bulgaria, analysis and risk assessment of introduction of new vine varieties. Creating a database to determine the vineyard microregions allows the use of available information on agricultural land, soils and climate. A methodology for analysis and their processing was developed, as well as accelerating the phase of deciding on placement of vine varieties with application of GIS.
