Еffect of the Floor Management Systems on the Content of Potassium in the Soil and Cherry Trees | ВЛИЯНИЕ НА СИСТЕМИТЕ ЗА ПОДДЪРЖАНЕ НА ПОЧВАТА ВЪРХУ СЪДЪРЖАНИЕТО НА КАЛИЙ В ПОЧВАТА И ЧЕРЕШОВИТЕ ДЪРВЕТА

The investigation was carried out in an experimental sweet cherry Prunus avium L. plantation, established at the Institute of Agriculture, Kyustendil, on a Chromic Luvisoils LVch. Three floor management systems are studied - permanent fallow and combined with green manure crops and intercrops with rye-pea mixture on the background of two levels of nitrogen fertilization - N10 and N20. It was found that with the application of considerable amounts of phosphorus and potassium 120 kg/da P2O5 and 100 kg/da K2O with the replanting mineral fertilization good reserves of soil in the surface 0-25 cm in treatments of permanent fallow are ensured. The same is true also for the fallow + green manures and fallow + intercrops treatments. In the 25-50 cm soil layer only the variant fallow + intercrops + N20 is well-secured with mobile potassium. In all other treatments reserves are average. The content of potassium was higher in leaves of cherry Bing and Van cultivars, grafted onto mahaleb in a green manure, combined with the N20. The leaves in the fallow + intercrops treatment are less provided with this nutrient.
