The purpose of this study is to establish the daily and the amount of actual evapotranspiration during the entire vegetation and also for each decade over the comparatively new hybrid grain maize Kneja – 613. Evapotranspiration is established in the following variants: 1. no irrigation, 2. optimal irrigation - 100% of the estimated irrigation rate, 3, 4 and 5. irrigation with respectively 75, 50 and 25% of the rate used for variant 2. During the experimental period total evapotranspiration in no irrigation conditions is about 317.2 mm. In the optimal irrigation conditions the evapotranspiration increased by 56% and is 495.2 mm. In reduced irrigation rate conditions respectively with 75, 50 and 25%, total evapotranspiration during the period were reduced average by 6.8, 16.2 and 26.7%. The maximum of average daily evapotranspiration in conditions with no irrigation was average 3.8 mm and occur in the first ten days of July, the variants irrigated by 25 and 50% of the irrigation rate occurs during the second decade of July and was respectively 4.5 and 5.3 mm. By optimizing the irrigation regime - 75 and 100% of the irrigation rate the maximum of the evapotranspiration is in the third decade of July and for the optimal irrigated variant is 6.5 mm.
