In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized the usage and comparative evaluation of the method of molecular analysis using DNA markers (RAPD and ISSR) for the certification and identification of plant material of swamp blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.). There was found and adapted the rapid and simple method of DNA detection from leaf tissues of blueberry; there were selected the effective primers and optimized the conditions for the realization of two types of polymerase chain reactions (PCR) - RAPD and ISSR. There was realized the gel electrophoresis of products of polymerase chain reaction of blueberry DNA preparations with 20 random primers (RAPD) and 5 UBC primers for ISSR. On the basis of the received spectrum for the studied blueberry varieties there were developed multi-loci RAPD- and ISSR- passports. Advantages of both presented methods were analysed. Research results showed that the information value (the quantity of informative valuable polymorphic markers in terms of primers or one PCR) in the conditions of ISSR-analysis was 4 times higher than under the RAPD-analyis. The resolving ability (capability to distinguish different varieties) was more precise in the ISSR analysis
