Results of the field and laboratory experiments on the determination the antimicrobial activity of hop (Humulus lupulus) cones of the recognized Hallertauer Magnum variety of German selection cultivated in the western region of the Republic of Belarus on sod-podzolic sandy loamy soil with the application of boric, cooper, and zinc trace element fertilizers against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans bacterium were presented. Research results proved that hop infusions had high antimicrobial activity and hop bactericidal properties depended first of all on the content of alpha-acids in the studied cone samples. Hop samples in the variants with the leaf spray micronutrient fertilization showed higher indices of bactericidal action in comparison with the variants of soil application. All studied test cultures showed lower antibacterial effect in the comparison with the infusion produced on the basis of hop samples with the foliar application of copper fertilizers (Backgroud + Cu (0,15+0,15+0,15) against the background of organic an mineral micronutrient fertilizers. The highest antibacterial effect of hop cones was stated against Escherichia coli
