Analysis of different methods of the comparative evaluation of the ecological plasticity and stability (average yielding capacity, harvest fluctuation, dispersion, plasticity, coefficient of variation, stability index, ABY, grading factor, etc.) of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare) varieties (Gonar, Burshtyn, and Yakub) cultivated in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus by the example of Zhodino city (Belarus) was realized. All studied barley variety samples (except Burshtyn) showed high development indices. Research results showed that used research analysis of 20 variety indices (different sowing terms, preceding crops, levels of intensification) by the example of Zhodino city taking into consideration different weather conditions in the experimental period made it possible to forecast the development of barley genotypes performance (according to the indices of ecological plasticity, stability and gomeostaticity) on the whole territory of the Republic of Belarus with the degree of credibility. The realized study also made it possible to differentiate barley variety indices more trustworthy with the help of the proposed agricultural backgrounds of Zhodino city
