Genetic structure of pedunculate oak (Quercus robur) populations is analyzed. Molecular genetic analysis of the oak stands of the south part of the Republic of Belarus is carried out. As an experimental material buttons, leaves and wood are used. RAPD, PCR-RFLP and SSRP-methods along with microsatellite analysis are practiced. Electrophoretic fractionation of amplification products is made on genetic analyzer ABI PRISM 310 (Applied Biosystem). During RAPD-analysis 28 genetically determined zones of amplification are founded for 5 primers (Oligo4 – 6 locus, Oligo 16-7, Oligo 28-2, Oligo 31-6, Oligo 32-7). The main characteristics of genetic variability of Quercus robur upon RAPD-markers are presented. Dendrogram of genetic similarity of Quercus robur stands, made upon RAPD-analysis results, is displayed. Quercus robur haplotypes distribution according microsatellite analysis of chloroplast DNA is shown. Genetic variability of the oak is considered to be high and corresponds with Central and Western European tradition. Three variants of Quercus robur haplotypes are revealed.
