Агроэкономическая эффективность возделывания бобовых трав на антропогенно-преобразованных торфяных почвах белорусского Полесья

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed the yielding capacity data of cultivated alfalfa (Medicago sativa), bird's-foot trefoil (Lotus cornicutus L.) and goat's rue (Galega orientalis L.) on anthropogenically transformed peat soils. These types of soils are considered to be low-yielding and are characterized by low organic matter content (less than 10%) and ground water levels (more than 1.0 meter), rapid transformation and changes in the properties which determine their fertility and productivity. It is possible to solve the problem of the fertility increasing and ecological stability of agricultural landscapes which are taking place on these soils by means of expansion of cultivation areas for alfalfa, bird's-foot trefoil and goat's rue growing. The productivity level of these leguminous crops can be up to 85 centers of feed unit per hectare per year. They can balance the protein level of feeds and conserve the fertility of soils. In course of the study there were presented features of yielding capacity formation of alfalfa, bird's-foot trefoil and goat's rue according to the lifelong grass stand years.
