In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed the results of wild carnivorous animal ethology or animal behaviour (foxes (Vulpes vulpes); raccoon dogs (Nuctercutes procuoisdes Grey); wolf (Canis lupus); and badger (Meles veles)). There were presented data on clinical symptoms of rabies of wild carnivorous, techniques of sylvatic rabies prevention and its use efficiency in Belarus. Also, there were analysed methods of rabies prevention: regulation of quantity of wild carnivorous animals as reservoirs and transmitter of rabies virus; oral immunization of wild carnivorous animals; areas of bait distribution; methods and density of bait distribution; seasons and duration of realization of oral immunization. There was given analysis of efficiency of rabies preventive measures among wild carnivorous animals in Belarus. Research results showed that it was necessary to realize annual double vaccination in course of 5-6 years b 2-3 years after the last case of disease incidence at the minimal area of 5000 square km.
