Effect of irrigation dose and fertigation on apple crops

The effect of different irrigation doses and fertigation was evaluated in apple Golden Delicious Reinders/M9 during 2004 to 2008. The fertilizer Kristalon was applied in the concentration 3 g/tree/1 dose. Four variants were tested. The results were as follows (kg per tree): 1. non-irrigated control: 25.6, 2. drip irrigation of 1.6 L/h output: 28.5, 3. drip irrigation of 2.3 L/h output: 30.6, 4. drip irrigation of 3.5 L/h output: 33.1. The irrigation was carried out in an automatic operation regime. The highest yield and fruit weight was achieved using the highest water supply.
