Lake Būšnieki is a lagoonal type lake which is endangered because of anthropogenic impact; therefore, it is necessary to research the development of the lake to find the best method for protection of an important Natura 2000 territory – the shore of Lake Būšnieki. The study results, including fieldwork (coring, sediment description), pollen analysis, sediment datings, and analysis of cartographic materials, the geological map and geological cross-sections of the lake, allow to conclude that organogenic sediments in Lake Būšnieki have been accumulated since the Preboreal up to these days without significant interruptions. The article argues for a view that the level of Lake Ancylus on the Latvian shore has been higher than the level of the Litorina Sea.
Показать больше [+] Меньше [-]Латышский. Būšnieku ezers ir lagūnas tipa ezers Kurzemes pussalas ziemeļrietumu piekrastē, kura ekosistēmu apdraud antropogēnā ietekme. Lai labāk izprastu, kādi pasākumi nepieciešami tā aizsardzībai, ieskaitot nozīmīgo Natura 2000 teritoriju – Būšnieku ezera krastu, ir svarīgi veikt kompleksus nogulumu pētījumus, kas sniedz informāciju par ezera ģeoloģiskās attīstības gaitu, kura savukārt ļauj prognozēt tā izmaiņas nākotnē. Pētījuma lauka darbos iegūtie dati (urbumu apraksti) un to analīze, sporu un putekšņu analīžu rezultāti, nogulumu datējumi, kā arī kartogrāfiskā materiāla analīze, tai skaitā Būšnieku ezera apkārtnes karte, ģeoloģiskā karte un ezera ģeoloģiskie šķērsgriezumi, ļauj secināt, ka organogēnie nogulumi Būšnieku ezerā uzkrājušies no preboreāla laika (PB) līdz mūsdienām bez ievērojamiem pārtraukumiem. Pētījumā izvirzīta hipotēze, ka Ancilus ezera līmenis Latvijas piekrastē ir bijis augstāks nekā Litorīnas jūras līmenis un ka Būšnieku ezers ir bijis Ancilus ezera līcis vai lagūna.
