The general conclusion is that the expression of hygienic behaviour can be influenced by the selection without damaging influence on the productive-reproductive capabilities. The grooming behaviour can not be influenced by the selection, because the coefficient of heritability of this type of behaviour less than 0.25. To beekeepers may be recommended the selection on hygienic behaviour and breeding of bees and queen bees with increased resistance to causes of bacterial, mycotic and ectoparasitic diseases, first of all tick Varroa destructor as a vector of many causes of diseases of nests and adult bees. In this way can be avoided the usage of chemical preparations, because the application of acaricides and other medicines in the beekeeping all around the world has many unwanted effects first of all a negative influence on all members of the bee colony and efficiency loss after the longer usage because of appearance of resistant Varroa ticks. The usage of acaricides is also fraught with appearance of residues in honey, beewax and in other bee products, which after reaching a organism of consument may produce damage effects (teratogenic, mutagenic, carcinogenic etc.).
