Collection, transport and treatment of waste fecal waters in the settlement of Pale (Bosnia and Herzegovina) is not solved in a satisfactory way. Unrefined waste waters flow directly into open watercourses of the Paljanska Miljacka River, Repasnica, Jahorinski potok and other smaller streams without previous treatment. In this way Paljanska Miljacka, at the length of about 3km, represents the largest open collector of waste waters in the area of the municipality of Pale. Disposal of waste waters in the watercourse of Paljanska Miljacka River is performed on four places, among which is the largest the main city collector, which flows around the football stadium and encompasses the sewerage system around 80% objects of narrower city region. The aim of this work is establishment of water quality of waste waters of the main collector, its influence on the water river, as well as comparison with the water quality above the settlements of Pale at the entrance of the city of Sarajevo.
