In vitro antimicrobial activity, total phenol and flavonoid content of methanol, ethyl-acetate and acetone extract from Teucrium montanum were investigated. The best activity showed methanol extract followed by acetone and ethyl-acetate extracts. Among the tested microorganisms, the most sensitive were bacteria Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, while standard and clinical straines of Candida albicans were resistant to tested extracts. Concentrations of total phenols in extracts were from 55.41 to 179.06 mg GA/g extract and flavonoids from 35.12 to 53.81 mg RU/g extract.
