In our country, fruit pests appear on stone fruits from more different taxonomic groups. This paper describes the most important pests of fruit according to fruit species. Knowledge of species, their biology, potential to cause damage and control measures have an effect on yield and fruit quality. In Serbia, the most damage on peach fruit causes the Peach twig borer (Anarsia lineatella Zeller), Oriental fruit moth (Cydia molesta Busk), and Rose chafer (Cetonia aurata L.). On plum fruit heavy damage can be caused by Plum leaf psyllid (Cacopsylla pruni Scop.), Black, Yellow and Small plum sawfly (Hoplocampa minuta Christ., H. flava L., H. rutilicornis Klug), Plum fruit moth (Cydia funebrana Treitsche), Plum borer (Rhynchites cupreus L.). For cherry fruit the most dangerous pests are Cherry fruit fly (Rhagoletis cerasi L.) and Cherry weevil (Rhynchites auratus Scop.).
