Hygiene maintenance of animal cemeteries was and still is an outstanding problem, since it represents a potential source of infection, because remains of decreased animals are being deposited there. On the other hand, hygiene maintenance by chemical means such as lime and sulphuric acid will destroy pathogenic microorganisms, but there is a risk of pollution of groundwater aquifer. One of the solutions according with EC Directives about environmental protection is application of enzymatic-bacterial preparations, which are very effective in destroying of pathogenic microorganisms with multiple speeding the process of removing bad odors, mineralization and regeneration in natural circumstances, with effective environmental protection. According to our knowledge and experience, we represent in this paper an overview of the products, technological data about the application and achieved results.
