This experiment was carried out during seasons 2004/05 and 2005/06 at Shambat Research Station Farm to evaluate the efficacy of Cekuthoate (dimethoate) and Pegasus (diafenthiuron) against aphid and jassid on eggplant. These insecticides were compared with Folimat (omethoate) as standard and untreated control. Cekuthoate and Pegasus at all tested rates effectively reduced aphid and jassid populations and increased eggplant yield compared with the untreated check
