Английский. The objective of the current study was to develop a micropropagation protocol for Cerasus microcarpa (subsp. tortuosa), a wild and largely neglected Prunus species. Dormant cuttings taken from donor plants were forced to grow by using a forsing solution and newly developed shoots were used as the explant source.

Bu çalışmada, bilimsel bakımdan yeterince incelenmemiş ve yabani bir tür olan Cerasus microcarpa (subsp. tortuosa) için bir in vitro mikroçoğaltım protokolünün geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Dinlenme döneminde (kışın) damızlık bitkilerden alınan ve sürdürme (forsing) solüsyonuna konulan odun çeliklerinin sürmeleri sağlanmıştır. Odun çeliklerinin sürmesiyle meydana gelen yeni sürgünler eksplant kaynağı olarak kullanılmıştır.
