The aim of this study was to research genetic variation generated during in vitro culture of immature embryos of three barley cultivars. The frequency of inherited changes in R2 was 10.45% in cv. Veslets. 8.89% in cv. Perun and 15.39% in cv. Emon. In R3 generation 20% of regenerate progenies from cv. Vesletsh, 22% from cv. Perun and 18% from cv. Emon were significantly different from initial cultivar for one or more of the quantitative characters studied.
