Efeito do regulador de crescimento Trinexapac-Etil em cevada cervejeira irrigada em áreas de Cerrado do Distrito Federal.

RESUMO: O objetivo desse estudo foi verificar o efeito do regulador de crescimento trinexapac-etil em cevada cervejeira irrigada em áreas de Cerrado do Distrito Federal. O ensaio foi conduzido na área experimental da Embrapa Cerrados, em Planaltina, DF. Adotou-se o delineamento experimental de blocos ao acaso, com quatro repetições, utilizando as linhagens PFC 92126 e PFC 94014, ambas dísticas, a cultivar BRS 180 e a linhagem AF 9585, hexásticas. A aplicação de trinexapac-etil foi feita nas dosagens de 100 e 125 g/ha de ingrediente ativo, no estádio de primeiro nó visível, e 125 g/ha, no estádio de segundo nó visível. O regulador de crescimento trinexapac-etil apresenta efeito significativo na redução da altura e do acamamento da planta, sem afetar o teor de proteínas, rendimento de grãos, comprimento de espigas, maturação e o número de espigas/m². A classificação comercial das cevadas hexásticas é a única variável resposta afetada negativamente pelo redutor de crescimento. ABSTRACT: The objective of this study was to examine the effect of the growth retardant trinexapac-ethyl on irrigated malting barley in the savanna conditions of Brasília - Federal District. The experiment was grown in the experimental fields of Embrapa Cerrados, in Planaltina, DF. A complete randomized block design with four replications was used. Six-rowed BRS 180 and AF 9585 and two-rowed genotypes PFC 92126 and PFC 94014 were evaluated. Trinexapac-ethyl was applied at the dosages of 100 and 125 g/ha of active ingredient , at the first visible node stage, and 125 g/ha at the second visible node. The growth regulator trinexapac-ethyl reduced plant height and lodging in all genotypes and kernel plumpness in both six-rowed barleys. It did not affect the length of plant cycle, grain yield and protein content, spike length, and spike density.
