In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was considered the influence of wind on the contour irrigated by sprinkling apparatus in the process of irrigation by livestock wastes. There were analyzed changes in the intensity of artificial rain in case of changes in the irrigation contour. There was proposed a functional connection used for determination of the average rainfall intensity increase depending on wind speed. The presented functional connection (dependence) made it possible to adjust the standards and duration of sprinkling irrigation in case of its realization of windy conditions. Among the estimated figures there were taken into account probability value of weed speed in gradation in different times of a day. For the Republic of Belarus the most favourable time for realization of sprinkling irrigation, taking into consideration the wind speed, was morning (7 am) and evening (7 pm). In spite of the fact that at night time (1 am) the wind speed was less that 1 meter/second, some technological and organizational obstacles do not make it possible to recommend this period for irrigation with livestock wastes.
