In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus on the basis of theoretical and experimental studies there have developed the working body for the front mower with the cutting device. The mower cuts the stalks at mowing and grinds rude stalk plants, providing lower energy costs by 20-30%. The authors have developed and proposed a number of new cutting devices with a combined cutting stems. In course of the study there were presented schemes of cinematics of movement of points on knife blades of a mower; schemes of cuttings of plants with different height. Analysis of the influence of cinematic parameters of cutting apparatus of multiple-unit cutting on cutting indexes and plant grinding showed that cinematics of points movement of imposition of cutting forces allocated over the knife blades of articulated suspensions was the same. Cutting with sliding motion made it possible to lower the energy expenses for cutting and plant grinding. Also it improved the quality of cutoffs and grinding of stalks.
