In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of studies of the influence of methods of long-term (in course of 50 years) agricultural use of peat soils of natural state (nature reserve) on the transformation of their bioenergy potential. Also there was revealed the influence of drainage of these soils on their bioenergy transformation. It was shown that under the influence of anthropogenic factors the energy reserves in agro peat soil decreased (in comparison with the state of bioenergy potential of a nature reserve): under single crop grasses - by 37%, under crop rotation crops – single row crops -by 85%. Bioenergy potential of agricultural sopd-podzolic soils at a 0-25 centimeter layer in average was 2.2 thousand GJ/ha, with deviation from 0.81 (the humus content of about 1%) up to 2.97 (humus content of about 3%). This was lower than in degro-sward soil used for a long time under monoculture row.
